I am joining the Mangala Sanctuary as a true believer of a nondenominational religion and subscribe to the religious use of the entheogens. I engage in practices and ceremonies involving the sacred use of plants and fungi. These entheogens provide alleviation of pain and relief not available to me through the use of pharmacological drugs. I am not a law enforcement officer or an employee of any government agency that requires mandatory reporting of use of entheogens and sacraments.
I agree to follow all of the rules and guidelines of Mangala Sanctuary. I accept all risks of using entheogens in Mangala’s ceremonial practices and understand that Mangala Sanctuary merely makes these sacraments available to its followers for religious and ceremonial purposes. I agree that I will not use any sacraments within 1000 ft of Mangala Sanctuary and shall not operate vehicles or heavy machinery, or otherwise endanger myself and others in following the ceremonial traditions of my faith.
I have access to spiritual guides and counseling through Mangala Sanctuary. Mangala Sanctuary does not know my medical history or provide medical advice. I agree that I am using the sacraments based on personal judgment, and have not had a history of psychotic episodes or conditions that may be aggravated by the use of entheogens that I choose to partake in as part of my faith. I agree to use all sacraments responsibly.
I agree that I will not engage in photography, videography, or any means of capturing or recording images while I am in the Mangala Sanctuary premises. I agree that Mangala Sanctuary is a religious and sacred space and any image or footage captured would be a violation of the privacy of Sanctuary leaders and adherents; the damage caused by these acts are difficult to estimate. As such, I agree to be liable to Mangala for $10,000 for each attempt to capture images or video of Mangala Sanctuary, and may be ejected for violating Sanctuary policies and guidelines.
I understand that Mangala Sanctuary reserves the right to restrict access to the Sanctuary and may ask a Member to leave or revoke Membership at anytime for violation of Sanctuary policies and guidelines.
